Ok so i am slowly but surely building up some stock to re-open the Missymuh store. I've been working on somethings over the past few weeks. I still have a bit more I want to add before i open it, but here are some sneekypeeks of what you can expect. 
Hopefully i will have the store open by the middle of next week, so watch this space for announcements.
I'm feeling much better today. Feeling very creative and not very motivated to do the housework... so I'm gonna go hide back in my sewing room while the kids watch Play School :)

I made this dress the other day. I have been trying for two days solid to get charlee to wear it so i could take a photo of it. But for some reason she just did not like it. She would scream the moment i started walking towards her with it. I don't think it was the fabric, because she hated it before it had even touched her. Maybe she just doesn't like blue lol. Anyway, i designed it myself. And i use the word "design" very loosely. Because obviously i didn't come up with the concept of a bikini type top halter dress on my own. But i did make it without a pattern, and sketches out a few drafts first.
It is made from a cotton/polyester cheese cloth type fabric, and i absolutely love the color.
Here are a few pics, i deliberately cut off Miss grumpys head because she was screaming her lungs out for the whole 5 min i managed to keep it on her lol

I had about two meters of this fabric. I brought it a while ago for a few dollars at the op shop. I had all these grand plans for it, i cut out some pattern pieces and started sewing when my machine decided it didn't want to cooperate. It didn't like this fabric very much. Needless to say it wouldn't stitch it properly, so what i was planning on making came out totally shit lol. I was so annoyed, I ruined a whole meter of it before i gave up and tried a simpler pattern. I ended up with this little top.

Not much going on here. Koby is painting. Charlee is asleep. I have a headache, but cant seem to drag myself away from the computer.
I just thought i should add a note here to say anyone who is thinking of booking me for a photography session to use the photos for Xmas prezzies, should make sure the secure a date with me before the 1st of November to make sure you have enough time to get the photos printed. At the moment i am booked until October, so get in quick :)

And secondly to Steve Irwin... OMG... i am in total shock. I was never really a huge fan, i always found him kind of embarrassing and painful to watch actually. But i feel horrible for his family. He has left behind a wife and two young children. They will never see their daddy again, and the thought of that is heart breaking. Especially for him to have gone in such a freaky, accidental way. And for them to have to hear about it all over the news and the media circus that is sure to follow. How horrid. Hopefully the media can show some respect for a change and let them get through this time in relative peace. Wishful thinking though.
