(sketch is for Illustration Friday. I haven't done one of those in ages so i did this quick sketch yesterday. The theme is Extremes, so this is charlee with her extreme-ly messy hair in the morning.)

Ok so the whole no TV thing was a good idea in theory, but it is driving me mental.
I can not get anything done. With Koby whinging and crying because he is missing whatever cartoon it is he wants to watch, and charlee literally either sitting on my lap or dangling off my arm wanting me to play dolly's with her every 5 min i am just not getting any of the work done that i need to.

My kids only have two volume levels when they are playing. It's either loud or louder. And everything gets a running commentary so even if they don't want me to play with them i still get koby standing next to me describing in great detail the story or rules of whatever game they have just made up. They bash into things, throw things, argue with each other, cry, scream, laugh and generally make a whole heap of noise.

Besides all that i have also decided to get back into toilet training Charlee. She has been pretty good most of the week. She is getting to the point now where she can stop herself peeing long enough to get to the toilet. The whole poohing deal is still a bit hit and miss (ok mostly miss) but she is getting there and she is very proud of herself.

I have piles of washing from the numerous undies and pants she has wet through, plus a whole heap of stuff that i cleaned up off the floors in all the rooms last week. The kitchen is a mess and i have three photo sessions that need to be proofed and put into galleries by next week.  I also have some scrapping projects that need to be completed one is top secret and the other is for Blue Bazaar but i can't get started on either until i get the materials sent to me. Hopefully i am also going to receive my first package from October Afternoon in the next week or two which I'll need to have a good play around with.

Most of that list of things to do is purely there for my own benefit, i am finding more and more lately that i need to write down a list of all the things i need to do and are coming up otherwise i just forget things. I must be getting old.

Anyway, i did do some scrapping over at Dannii's house last night. I complete three pages but can only show one as the others are for SC mag and also Blue Bazaar.

Ok i'll have to leave it there...Charlee needs to pee again...i swear that girl has no actual bladder...drink just goes in her mouth and right through the other end again...

I took a few days to decide what to do for this weeks topic. It is a pencil sketch, that has been computer enhanced.

Illustration Friday: Fat, and other stuff.

This weeks theme in illustration Friday was fat. I wasn't particularly happy with this theme, my poor self esteem cant quite handle having to think about drawing fat things at the moment. Needless to say i still managed to come up with something. It's just a quick pencil sketch. Poor fella.

I made another kimono for Miss C and it fits her much better. Exactly the same as the one pictured so no need to show it again. I think I'm gonna get very addicted to making these lol. So quick.

Next week i am expecting a bucketload of scrapping supplies to land at my door. I brought some online here, plus i am getting some from a friend, and on top of all that i won a prize doing an online crop a few weeks ago! So i shall be in scrapping heaven for the next few weeks. Which is great because i really lost my scrapping mojo for a while there, but now i seem to be back in the swing of things.

Anyway, off to mums today. She is gonna help me out with my knitting (i still cant get my head around the whole K2, slip one, wl.fwd then p.s.s.o part ). And it was also her birthday on Friday, so happy birthday mummy :)

Well i have decided to start getting involved with illustration friday. So since this is friday, i thought i'd start today. This weeks topic is "speed".

This is a pencil sketch of Miss C with her interpretation of being "speedy".

And this is a pen, watercolor and chalk sketch of Koby being "speedy" on his little motorbike.
