Strange dream

The last few nights this week i have been dreaming about an old highschool friend. Every dream is set in the same place, highschool, but each time something different is happening. A few nights ago there was a demolition type car derby thing happening on the school oval, and last night the whole school somehow turned into some giant water park... But this guy is alway in it. Nothing kinky goes on, he is just there, and we talk.

I havn't seen this particular guy in ages, so i have no idea what my subconcious is trying to tell me. The strange thing is, i am not young when i am there, i am the me of today, with kids and all. I even drop Koby off to kinder on my way to school. Yet everyone that i went to school with is there in the background. And i am also always running late, and i can never find where i am suppose to sit or what room i am ment to be in, but some how i always end up in the same one.

Anyway i looked a few common themes up in my old dream interpritation book, and this is what i came up with:

school: to dream of attending school means you are ashamed of your ignorance; or a golden oppertunity is about to come to you, and you will only benifit by stocking up on your knowlege;or to dream you go back to school but cannot learn means you are about to undertake something which you don't understand. Alternatively, a dream that takes place in school may be a metaphor for the lessons that you are learning from your waking life.

old friend:if you dream of a friend your fortune will improve.;To see an old ex-boyfriend from childhood in your dream, refers to a freer, less encumbered relationship. The dream servers to bring you back to a time where the responsibilities of adulthood (or marriage) didn't interfere with the spontaneity of romance. You need to recapture the excitement, freedom, and vitality of youth that is lacking in your present relationship.

water:standing besides a clear stream denotes good luck; to dream you see a small pond means you will have the love of a beautiful man or woman;

lost:To dream that you are lost, suggests that you have lost your direction in life or that you have lost sight of your goals. You may be feeling worried and insecure about the path you are taking in life. Alternatively, you may be trying to adjust and get accustomed to a new situation in which the rules and conditions are ever changing.

late:To dream that you are late, denotes your fear of change and your ambivalence about seizing an opportunity. You may feel unready, unworthy, or unsupported in your current circumstances. Additionally, you may be overwhelmed or conflicted with decisions about your future.
